Web design is an industry that comes with a lot of questions. Does the client want an image on the home page? What color should the background be? If you are designing your website, you may not realize that the font you use on the site is actually just as important as the rest of these questions. While you may want to use a fancy, swirling font to add character to your site, doing so may make it difficult for some visitors to access your site.

Have you ever said goodbye to someone, maybe someone you have known for a long time, yet were secretly glad to see go? Maybe it was that relative who came to visit and then stayed and stayed and stayed, or perhaps it was a coworker who always hogged the break room and finally got transferred to another department.
If you are still using Internet Explorer 6 as your web browser, getting rid of it will bring you the same sense of relief. It is time. You do not have to be loyal anymore. There are better options out there. So let go, jump on over to FireFox, or at least download Internet Explorer 7, and be ready to really experience the internet, without the constant crashes and error messages.

"Content Is King" is the mantra of SEO professionals across the web, and they are not far off. Web content does much for your website. Of course, it draws search engine traffic organically, but it also provides your visitors with important information and can establish you as an expert in your field.
By providing valid, helpful information for your site visitors, you will make them more apt to trust what you sell as well. But, like with most things related to the Internet, writing good web content is not enough. You also have to publish it on your site in a visually pleasing manner. After all, if your readers have to squint and strain to read what is written on your site, they aren't going to stay long.
